It looks like the top of the letters have a long angle going back towards the mesh part of the grille & the F & D are angled inwards towards the sides of the grille sides. I can't seem to find the proper font to use to create a file where I can manipulate the sizes to fit the space I have to work with, nor are there any Raptors around here that I could take measurements from to help in the process.īasically I'd like to know the height of the FORD portion of the grille on the flat area on the front and the dimensions of the actual fonts, like the width of the leg of the F & length & width of the arms of the F, etc. I've seen a few kits that convert the hood, fenders & grille too, but I'm just interested in the grille, but I can't say I like the kits I've seen so far. I know I'm gonna get hatemail, but I want something totally one of a kind. In the meantime, I've been thinking about making my own version of a Raptor style grille for my Ranger.
